Boarding your dog for the first time is genuinely nerve-wracking. You've never left them overnight somewhere before. You don't know if they'll eat, if they'll sleep, if they'll be okay without you. These feelings are normal — almost every first-time boarding client feels exactly this way.
Here's what we do that no other boarding facility in Bay County does: we give you live camera access from the moment you drop your dog off. Not a photo update at the end of the day. A live HD feed of the kennel area — your dog, in real time, right now. Pull out your phone anytime and see them.
Most first-time boarding clients tell us the cameras completely changed their experience. They expected to spend the weekend worrying. Instead, they watched their dog playing with a staff member on Saturday morning and immediately relaxed.
Your First Boarding Stay — Step by Step
- Book your stay — call (850) 257-5776 or go to https://animalfriendspc.com/book. Tell us your dog's breed, size, and any special needs.
- Gather what you need — vaccination records (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP), your dog's food portioned for each day, any medications, a familiar toy or blanket (optional but comforting).
- Drop off — arrive during business hours. Our team will walk you through the check-in process, get your dog settled, and hand you camera access before you leave.
- Check the cameras — watch your dog anytime from your phone. They might be exploring their suite, napping, or getting attention from a staff member.
- Pick up a happy dog — boarding dogs almost always come home tired (in a good way) and familiar with the facility for future stays.
