Free Photo Text Updates — During Grooming & Boarding

You drop off your dog and wonder how they're doing. At Animal Friends Pet Care, you don't have to wonder. We text you real photos during your dog's grooming appointment and throughout boarding stays — automatically, for free, without you having to ask. A mid-groom photo when your pup is freshly bathed. A boarding update showing them relaxed in their suite. Real pictures, real time, no charge.

Photo updates are a standard, free part of our service. We do it because we think you should see your dog without having to chase anyone for it.

What You'll Receive

• During grooming — a mid-session photo showing your dog partway through their groom, and a final "they're ready" photo before pickup
• During boarding — at least one photo update per day showing your dog in their suite, at outdoor break, or enjoying one-on-one staff time
• Text message delivery — straight to your phone, no app needed, no login required
• Free — always included, never billed as an add-on

Combined with Live Cameras

Photo updates are on top of — not instead of — our free 24/7 live camera access for boarding clients in our camera suites. So you have two visibility channels: live cameras anytime you want to look, and proactive photo texts from our team at key moments.

Why This Matters for Anxious Owners

First-time boarding owners, owners of anxious or senior dogs, and owners who've had bad experiences at other facilities consistently tell us the photo updates change everything. Instead of a 4-hour silence that leaves you wondering, you get a photo of your dog looking relaxed and well-cared-for. The anxiety of drop-off evaporates. That's the point.
